| 1. I am going to work on my state of mine. Since the tragedy, my head hasn't been right. I need to focus on myself. I need to get past the anger and the saddness.
2. Go to Europe. I need to get away from California and I can't just travel back to Arizona. I can't.
3. I need to fix things with my brother. He and I haven't spoken in three months. The tension there is so unbareable.
4. I have go to the cemetery. At least once. I have to see his grave just once. I haven't since the funeral.
5. I need to call Theo.
6. I need to go out to dinner with my group again. I haven't seen them in ages, and I want to. I need to talk to them and tell them how I am feeling.
7. I need to get another job. Bed, Bath, and Beyond in Arizona wasn't exactly what I'd call "perfect carreer choice."
8. I need to start college within the next month.
9. Stop moping around!

| My New Years resolutions? I never really made any before, but this year I've made one.
It was originally going to be something to do with getting Connor to quit blushing, but since we broke up earlier this week, i've changed it to "learn how to cook." I am the Organization's worst cook, and I'm wanting to get better. | | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |
| Last year I made my resolutions a few easy ones. Most resolutions should be easy though. I mean sure you can put one or two big ones in there but why set yourself up for failure. Should make at least a few that are attainable, I think. Anyway, last year I told myself I was gonna cut out some of the junk food I ate. On the road a lot the whole team gets into the habit of swinging through a Burger King parking lot or whatever. So I did pretty good on that this year. I didn’t cut it all out cause that’s impossible. But I did eat a lot of Subway and whatever delis I could find. Sometimes you just like a good burger and fries though. See what I’m saying? Make it attainable. I resolved to cut out most, not all. It worked.
This year my main resolution is to talk to my family more. I mean we’re close, don’t get me wrong. But we’re not as close as we were four years ago. That’s my fault. Shit happened, not with them but it affected them. And sometimes I can just see it in their eyes, how much it affected them. Need to quit avoiding the problem with them and just get past it. I know they love me more than I probably deserve it. And I really do love them. Shouldn’t let shame and guilt come between us. So yeah. That’s one resolution.
Another one is to work better with the team. I guess leading the BAU taught me that when someone goes rogue like I’m prone to do, the team suffers. And I don’t wanna be that as much as I have in the past. Like Hotch said, I need to learn to trust and let people trust me too. This one may be a little harder than the family one. But I think it never hurts to try.
Can’t believe it’s about to be 2010. I’m getting old.
